The title of the exhibition refers to the different fancy moments of adventure stories, movies, or maybe shamanic invocation, where being devoured by wild animals is often a common part of the story. The Hero then merges with a stronger element and reaches the indestructibility, immortality. Buczek experiments with narrative forms by inserting his own texts into the stolen texts from the stories of that kind, Szlags’ paintings are kind of a caricature of history and geography, interfers the routine way of perception and precast knowledge.
