One Day the Day Will Come When the Day Will Not Come

Abandoned decomposing remains (Václav Litvan) and consecrating found fragments in porcelain (Crystal Z Campbell); the sound of rain transforming into hand clapping and the beginning of a fire (Katharina Fritsch) and a looping sound of several versions of the most popular Italian song both from the Risorgimento and the Resistance time (Liliana Moro). Uncanny Gym exercise equipment (David Renggli), and the overlapping of the first and last ever version of Judy Garland singing Over the Rainbow (Christodolous Panayiotou). A floating curtain in front of the entrance of a mosque in Cairo and a floating red flag blocking the Brooklyn sunset (both by Anna Franceschini). The profane recall of a historical Christian scene (Danny McDonald) and the freezing of time in the erased news by Christian Holstad. Parallel with the exhibition is the written universe by Adam Chiristensen in research of sub-level of communication. A lethal ending with the lyrical textual reenactment of the Jonestown tragedy in 1978 (again Crystal Z Campbell).
One Day a Day will come when the Day will not Come (title also of the sound piece on display by Runa Islam who quotes Open Sky by Paul Virilio) indulges in state of ambivalence and oblivion. Sounds interacts; objects lay in empty space; texts are fixed on white walls and few videos appears in dark room. The end discredits the premises.
