Case of reoccurrence of child illnesses

In the past, when we were all someone else, our parents would take us to our sick friends so that they could infect us. We were brought to the source of the infection in good faith: By being infected, we would avoid catching the illness as adults with much more serious consequences. By going back in time, we can picture how we held on to our father’s rough palm with one small hand and grasped our mother’s detergentscented hand with the other. Walking between the two, we hopped off to get infected by our neighbors’ daughter. Combined with this actual (or rather, imaginary) journey into the souls of the artists, the exhibited works manifest a certain methodology of introspection, a methodology based on objectivity or general applicability. We thus expect visitors to be tempted and to apply these analyses to themselves.

Case of reoccurrence of child illnesses
The exhibition becomes an environment of matter itself, not only of space, but also of individual objects that we glimpse as they rest. Both authors complement each other perfectly in their work. Neither is dominant, neither is lost. Interest arises in ordinary, insignificant things that are materially interconnected. The material is important here. It forms the main essence of the entire content of the exhibition.
