After a year off, Sperm Festival, the contemporary art, music and visual culture event, is back. From Friday, April 23 to Sunday, April 25, 2010 at Prague’s unique MeetFactory you’ll have a chance to see, hear and experience several dozens of music performances, audiovisual projects, screenings, workshops and lectures. The nerd electro king Dan Deacon will spawn his now legendary one-man show, indie-pop Why? will return to Prague with their new album, other headliners include well-regarded tech-house producer Pantha du Prince or the audiovisual/architecture project SPAM – Karel Gott Prager by Vladimír 518, Ondřej Anděra and David Vrbík. Also in the line-up: Brooklyn’s experimental duo High Places, new music score to the silent film Orlacs Hands by Floex & Líba, dubstep star Boxcutter will guide you throuh the dark side of the contemporary dance scene along with active local bass-oriented Owntempo label. Film section curated by Bio Oko will offer the All Tomorrow Parties film projection or music films by French cinematographer Vincent Moon (La Blogotheque / The Take-Away Shows and others). The line-up is still not complete, we’ll be adding new names every day now!
