Dusk

Peter Barényi fills the container with back balloons. The author invites the spectators to get into the space individually, where they will be confronted with unexpected physical experience. The loss of orientation, incertitude, vigilence, tension or fear of balloon bursting are strenghtened by the sound background as a mirror of balloons sound. A simple object of the children´s games is changing to an architecture by its multiplication, while the visitor is taken into the situation demanding awarness and living tension with negative or positive conotations depending on one´s state of mind. The work of art called Dusk – black balloons is presented to spectators during the festival. Sound installation was made during the study stay in Saarbruecken in Germany, headed by one of the principal personalities of sound-art Kristina Kubish.
